This year more than 60 school nurses will be trained to implement Open Airways for Schools to help their students learn to manage their asthma.

This year more than 60 school nurses will be trained to implement Open Airways for Schools to help their students learn to manage their asthma.
New facilitators have been trained to implement the Freedom from Smoking program and assist people to quit smoking across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
An average of 300 participants receive lung health education and inspiration at the Respirator Rally, a unique one-day conference for people with chronic lung disease and their caregivers.
Last year, more than 20 schools received education to ensure that they are knowledgeable about how to care for their students with asthma.
Through this important coalition, we will help cities all across Texas to help implement smokefree ordinances that will protect the health of the communities we serve.
There are more than 20 active support groups throughout Northern Texas for individuals with chronic lung disease.
