Our Work In Little Rock

Smokefree Air Challenge

Launched in 2006, the American Lung Association’s Smokefree Air Challenge calls on all 50 states and the District of Columbia to pass laws prohibiting smoking in all public places and workplaces, including restaurants and bars. The country has made great progress towards meeting the Smokefree Air Challenge. Currently, 27 states and the District of Columbia have met the Smokefree Air Challenge, including Kansas in 2010. The American Lung Association will fight in 2010 and beyond to make sure everyone in all 50 states can enjoy clean, smokefree air where they work and play. You can join our fight for smokefree air by signing our Smokefree Air Challenge petition, click here.

Freedom From Smoking Online

Freedom From Smoking® Online, or FFS Online, is a program specifically designed for adults who want to quit smoking. It’s an adaptation of the American Lung Association’s gold standard, group clinic that has helped thousands of smokers to quit for good. FFS Online allows participants to receive that same smoking cessation assistance in a 24-7 accessible online format that can be done from the comforts and privacy of their own home. FFS Online takes participants through modules, each containing several lessons that they access through a protected website. These lessons include valuable information and the messages in each lesson reinforce their commitment to quit.
